April 21, 2019 - For whatever reason, I'm a rapid-transit system nerd, and thus, I had to ride Guadalajara's rapid transit system, the SITEUR, one stop for only 7 pesos!
SITEUR stands for "Sistema de Tren Eléctrico Urbano"; or, in english, Urban Electrical Train System. The original Line 1 was built in 1989, and this line, Line 2, in 1994. A third line connecting Tlaquepaque and Zapopan, as well as communities to the northwest and southeast, is under construction.
