Tour the Majesty 6 bedroom villa at Storey Lake resort Orlando / Kissimmee.
I shot this video when Lennar first built Storey Lake and they used this one and the 5 bedroom next door as their show homes. Lennar took the floor plans of the Villas from Paradise Palms which were really successful there and then modernized them into the whites and grays at Champions gate The Retreat.
Lennar further modified both the Alexander and the Majesty into their current role as Brazilian favorites. Probably two of the most popular floor plans with South Americans along with the Santiago. They was so popular Lennar never changed the name.
They did replace the well loved Maui (our first Lennar vacation home) with the Santiago. Main overall design change was "building in" the garage direct to a game room - removing any "garage conversion" nonsense that could come up.
They also ingeniously improved the parking by trading the front yard for street parking. Of course they did, who needs a front yard on a vacation home? What you do need is parking for 3 or more cars.
What made the Alexander and the Majesty so cool was they only had a one car garage - so more room inside. Who needs a garage for cars in a vacation home anyway?
Lennar figured that our first (take a bow Lennar) and just went the whole way by completely converting the garage in the Santiago. Genius.
The Gatsby is a Fiji, the best 6 bedroom floor plan in the vacation rental market (take another bow Lennar). It's just one of those floor plans that is ideal for the foot print. Lovely house.
So, The 5 Bedroom Alexander and 6 Bedroom Majesty are in Paradise Palms, Championsgate Retreat and Storey Lake. They are also in Solterra - yes, even Solterra was blessed by this Lennar favorite.
The 8 bedroom Maui and 6 Bedroom Fiji morphed into The Santiago and Gatsby when they made the trip from Champions gate to Storey lake. But interestingly the Maui made the smallest of detours on the way there by stopping off at Victoria Woods in Providence for a handful of units.
I kid you not. There are Maui's in Providence. I'm guessing less than 10.
