Ingredients
Ash Gourd/Kumbalanga-1 small
Thick Coconut Milk-1/2cup
Thin coconut milk-1cup
Water-1/4cup
Salt-
Curry leaves -1string
Green chilli-1 or 2
Coconut Oil-1tbsp
Sugar-1/4tsp (opt)
Method
Cut Ash Gourd in to small pieces ..
In a cooker add these pieces along with 1/4 cup water and salt .
Cook for 3 whistles ..
Then allow the water to drain well ..
Now add second coconut milk and green chillies ..
Cook till the gravy thickens ..
Then add thick coconut milk and sprinkle coconut oil and curry leaves
Switch off the flame and close the cooker for some time b4 serving ..
