The second of the three models built by Kawasaki-CSR Sifang in China to operate on the legacy North-South MRT Line and East-West MRT Line, the Kawasaki-CSR Sifang was built in China and is a continuation order from the earlier C151A. It is very similar from the C151A other than the new white, yellow, and red external livery from SMRT, and uses the newer STARIS 2.0 which is LCD based.
