How to mix concrete in a wheelbarrow is an often asked question. Mixing concrete or martar is usually done in a concrete or cement mixer but for small quantities, for laying concrete edging stones or small concrete garden paths, a wheel barrow is a very effective way of mixing. As you can see we use a Roughneck Micro Shovel for mixing as this allows us to lift each shovel full easily and is small enough to slide across the barrow easily. This concrete mix is 6 ballast to 1cement and is for concreting some concrete edgings which can be seen in another video.
