Authentic Witnessing: Sharing Your Faith with the Non-believer
Tim Babler
Hosted at St Mark (De Pere)
Do you struggle with knowing how and when to share your faith? In Authentic Witnessing we will take a look at what exactly it looks like to share your faith, sometimes even without words. We will talk through strategies, best practices, and even role play scenarios on what it looks like to be authentically and unapologetically Christian in today's world.
Ministering to the Sick and Homebound - Rev. Jim Mattek
Hosted at Mt Olive - Suamico
Each of us knows someone suffering and could use some loving Christian encouragement. Often, those people are homebound and alone. They’re trying to deal with issues like loneliness, isolation, and uncertainty regarding their worth. Sometimes the homebound are struggling with unresolved issues regarding family members or past sins.
Through lively discussion and some homework, you will become more confident in visiting and supporting the hurting. You'll also learn how to write devotions that you can share with the people you visit.
Nehemiah: Leadership in Crisis - Dr. Zac Paul
Hosted at Messiah (Bellevue)
Join us for an inspiring journey through the book of Nehemiah, exploring Christian leadership! Over eight weeks, we’ll dive deep into Nehemiah’s mission to rebuild Jerusalem, learning how to pray effectively, lead with integrity, and face opposition with courage. This class will equip you with practical tools —like active listening, accountability, adaptability, and teamwork—essential for any leader. Each session blends scripture study, group activities, and personal reflection to help you grow in faith and leadership.
Time to Talk - Rev. Tim Flunker
Hosted at Messiah (Bellevue)
We thank God that he has brought us to faith. We rejoice in the assurance of heaven waiting for us. We want to share that news with others. But how do we get going?
This 8-week course addresses all the realities of creating an environment in which you can share your faith. Rather than tell you, “Say this”, this course will encourage you to use the gifts, skills, knowledge, and abilities God has given you to share your faith in a way that is most comfortable to you.
There will be time to practice while we are gathered, as well as homework to encourage you to apply the learned information. It is Time to Talk.
Uniquely Gifted - Jenni Schubring & Michael Hennig
Hosted at St Mark (De Pere)
*Recommended especially for new St Mark Partners (all are welcome)
In this 6 week series we will discover our strengths through the CliftonStrengths assessment and then learn how to maximize them for God’s purposes. We will examine how Jesus modeled using strengths for his ministry and how we can learn from him.
Why So Many Churches? - Dr. John Parlow
Hosted at St Mark (De Pere)
"Why so many churches?", you ask? Undoubtedly someone's going to tell me there's ultimately only one church, the "invisible" church –- the Church with a capital "C" -- the church that all true believers in Jesus belong to through faith. But in this Bible class, I will describe the "visible" church, the external form that the Church has taken in history. Join me as we walk through the history of the Christian church on this earth, exploring the different denominations all to answer the question: "Why so many churches?"
