One Sicilian town in Italy has turned black.
This comes as Mount Etna, Europe's tallest active volcano, erupted...spewing black volcanic ash into the sky in Catania.
Residents in nearby towns were seen sweeping the streets as ash and rock fragments covered roads and buildings as well as boats in the harbor.
The 33-hundred-meter-high volcano often erupts but rarely causes damage.
The last major eruption was in 1992.
