This patient could feel Dr. Molenda touching her forehead when he was touching her nose. That’s because the sensory nerves that were moved with the artery for the forehead flap are still attached to the skin on the nose.
The wonderful patient thought it was “weird” but a little bit “funny” and “cool” too.
