Pietrasanta is an upscale Italian Riviera Town. Galleries, Boutiques and Restaurants abound. Famous as the town where Michelangelo sourced his marble, in the nearby Carrera Marble Quarries.

Often called little Athens it is now home to artists from around the world. The town is like a living gallery, as exhibitions of sculpture are a constant occurrence in the Duomo Square.
