I'd honestly recommend 900p instead of 1080p for this, or turn 2x pixellation on, then the game will lock to 60 or stay above if unlocked. And this is a rare type of game that almost looks more suitable the more crunchy the graphics! ahaha

Took a full day of troubleshooting to get my elgato recording the laptop acceptably, but it's pretty good now. Ironically all my attempts with official elgato software and obs were useless (desync issues on elgato software, sound crackling on obs).. Then I gave up and tried Mirillis Action which I had forgotten I even bought years ago, and simply used the Elgato HD60 Pro webcam device through that - worked perfectly!
Sometimes I hate software issues :)
