PETALING JAYA: Umno Youth warns PAS that Muafakat Nasional is about more than just seat distribution.


The PETALING JAYA According to Umno's Youth chief Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki, discussions about bolstering Muafakat Nasional, the alliance it formed with PAS, should go beyond seat distribution for the 15th general election.

This comes after PAS disclosed that Bersatu had offered it 47 seats it could win provided it supported Perikatan Nasional in the upcoming elections.

After speaking with Umno president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi and his deputy, Mohamad Hasan, the day before PAS announced it will continue to work with PN, PAS disclosed this, according to Asyraf.

In a Facebook post, he stated that "for Umno, any talk about reviving MN this time around should be more than just about seat allocations for GE15."
