LimaxLock Kiosk Lockdown App for Android helps you to manage Android devices by locking them into Kiosk Lockdown Mode. In Kiosk mode, the default home screen/launcher is replaced with a customizable screen that limits user access to selected applications enabled by admin. Kiosk Mode prevents misuse of Android tablets and smartphones or interactive self-service kiosks.

Kiosk Mode is a feature in which mobile devices or tablets can be restricted to use specific websites, apps manage and control all devices from a centralized dashboard. Users can tweak the peripheral settings by which an end-user can't access hardware functionalities like volume and home button.

The purpose of setting any mobile device or tablets in "Kiosk Mode" is to prevent users from running any other websites, apps or to deny access from device settings.
Most of the Enterprises use Kiosk Management Software to set device(s) in Kiosk Mode and manage its use by selecting apps, whitelisting websites and setting peripheral settings and monitoring the device health.

Kiosk mode can be used in several fields. Mainly used when the device is used as a Point of Sale (POS) device, an app can be set to be locked in foreground such that the person who has the device cannot use any other features in the device. A web page can also be set as Kiosk.
