This 2023 Brain Tumour Awareness Month webinar "Metabolic Therapy in Glioblastoma" is presented by Dr Matthew Phillips, FRACP, clinical and research neurologist at Waikato Hospital, Hamilton, New Zealand.
Dr Phillips discusses the idea that most sporadic cancer is a metabolic disorder, followed by a discussion of our current clinical trial in people with glioblastoma multiforme, which involves the most intensive metabolic therapy program, involving fasting and a modified ketogenic diet, that has ever been applied to any advanced cancer.
