In Part 2 we visit the beach to find a scene to paint. I have all the painting materials you saw in Part 1. Now it is time to compose and start a painting. It is a simple composition that I can rough in on the painting panel. Then block in the big shapes. Put in color and start to develop the scene.

What is important is to start the painting and work quickly. The sun constantly moves and this changes the scene. Also I want to avoid sunlight on my palette. The result is a 40 minute painting. Longer than that and the scene changes too much.
