In past years talks Theo has talked extensively about BGP, and BGP hijacking. In 2018 we've seen several instances of where BGP hijacking has been combined with other methods to steal cryptocurrency.

Theo Baschak is an active player in Manitoba's ISP scene. These days he does networking professionally, focusing on architecting and building routed networks using BGP. Theo has his own BGP AS, enjoys photography and curries, and volunteers his time with the Manitoba Internet Exchange and the Manitoba Network Operator Group.
