In 1994, Madison Square Garden in NY presented a large-scale new musical version (Lynn Ahrens-Alan Menken) of "A Christmas Carol." MSG would continue to present this spectacle every holiday season for the next decade. These clips are from the premiere production in '94, with Walter Charles as Scrooge and Emily Skinner as Young Ebenezer's love interest. This version of "A Christmas Carol" was eventually turned into a TV musical starring Kelsey Grammer.
