Global NCAP has crash tested Mahindra's Thar. And after a series of bad news from last week, a four star rating for the Thar is a breath of fresh air. It scored 12.52/17 for adult occupant safety, slightly lower than the Marazzo that also scored four stars.

Mahindra Thar ESC test showed 'unstable dynamic behaviour'. NCAP recommends review and improvement in this department.
