This video features a lucky man with an impressive set of wheels, and also features an impressive model from Portugal, while Dr. Don sings about meeting and connecting with a woman that is definitely out of his league, or so-he-thought. All the while, Dr. Don plays his electric guitars, which is a customized Gibson LPM 100 Year Commemorative Guitar.

The song depicts the a woman who is being taken for granted in her current relationship, giving her incentive to look beyond that relationship..

"I Lucked Out" is a song about doing the best we can and expecting some level of success. But, occasionally the success we achieve is well beyond our expectation, and Dr. Don believes that, in those instances, he's lucked out. A more arrogant person might say "hey, I planned it that way.". Dr. Don believes it is more gracious to acknowledge that the result was beyond our wildest dreams. It's a nice feeling when these type of results happen, and we should relish the occasion when that does happen.

"I Lucked Out" is Dr. Don's 18th song released in 2024, and is his 47th original song released in his short career, which was launched in September 2022. I Lucked Out was released in an audio-only format on October 30, 2024 as a single. His fourteenth song of the year dropped on August 10, 2024 and was entitled "Seattle State of Mind." Dr. Don's first song was "We've Got Inflation". Dr. Don's hits includes "So Hard to Resist" and "Poor But Rich."

Dr. Don's first single of 2025 will drop on January 1, 2025, however, the title is not yet determined.
