We go to replace the drive belt on a Cub Cadet LT1050 Riding Mower and find the engine pulley is stuck
The pulley will not come off but instead of using penetrating oil and an air hammer with a blunt end or heating it up we show a little trick that is even easier many times depending on the situation/model
This will work on a riding mower or a zero turn mower when replacing the drive belt and run into an issue with the drive belt pulley not coming off easily, rusted on or stuck
Find our videos on removing a stuck pulley or clutch if the above tip for some reason does not work for you at:
At [ Ссылка ] we remove a stuck on electric PTO clutch and pulley from Ariens Zoom 2040 zero turn riding mower.
We remove a stuck on PTO pulley from a John Deere 125 automatic riding lawn mower at [ Ссылка ]
This is the easy way to remove the rusted on PTO or drive pulley from a riding lawn mower.
We use an air hammer with a blunt end and penetrating oil ( [ Ссылка ] )
If you do not have an air hammer you can use a regular hammer and lightly tap with a punch but it takes a significantly longer amount of time.
