Easy low carb homemade cranberry sauce!
Ingredients:
12 oz fresh cranberries
sugar substitute equal to 1 cup sugar
OR try one of these:
- ¾ cup pineapple juice or orange juice
- ½ cup of unsweetened applesauce
- 1 cup diet cranberry juice
- ½ box sugar free raspberry or cranberry jello
1 cup water (if using juices above you may only need ½ cup water)
¼ tsp salt
OPTIONAL:
- 3-4 Tablespoons of honey or to taste
- dash of cinnamon or ginger
- orange zest
Steps:
1. Rinse & drain cranberries & put in a pot
2. Add rest of the ingredients and stir well
3. Bring to a boil on medium-high heat
4. Stirring frequently, you’ll see the cranberries start to “pop”! 5. Cook for about 5-10 minutes or until the sauce is the
consistency you want.
