This video illustrates a double-row suture anchor repair of a full-thickness rotator cuff tear of the shoulder. The patient is a 55 year old male. This is his left shoulder.
The medial row anchors are double-loaded with suture tape and Number 2 suture. The lateral row anchors are 5.0 biocomposite knotless anchors. All suture anchors have a hollow architecture to allow for increased blood flow and marrow delivery to the repaired tissue. Surgery and commentary by orthopedic surgeon Dr. Andrew Dold, MD.
