yuri is one of the two tritagonists (alongside natsuki), as well as the secondary antagonist of the visual novel doki doki literature club!, one of the five members of the literature club, later replacing sayori as the vice-president in act 2 after she was deleted by monika in act 1.yuri joined the literature club out of her interest in fantasy and psychological horror novels. as of act 2, she became the game's secondary antagonist, although she is not really a villain, just a victim. yuri and natsuki are always playing together and sometimes yuri can abuse natsuki on some occasions. however, yuri thinks that natsuki is perfect and that she's a good friend. doki doki literature club! (ddlc) is a 2017 freeware visual novel developed by american independent game studio team salvato for linux, macos, and windows. the game was initially distributed through itch.io, and later became available on steam. the story is told from the perspective of a high school student who reluctantly joins the school's literature club on the insistence of his childhood best friend, and is given the option to romantically pursue three of its four female members. doki doki literature club! features a non-traditional plot structure with multiple endings and unlockable cutscenes with each of the main characters. although the game initially appears to be a lighthearted dating simulator, it is in fact a metafictional psychological horror game that extensively breaks the fourth wall.

mikan tsumiki is a character featured in danganronpa 2: goodbye despair. she has the title of ultimate nurse (super high school level health committee member). after catching despair disease in chapter 3 and regaining her memory, she set up a plan to murder ibuki mioda, who also contracted despair disease, but ended up murdering both ibuki and hiyoko saionji after the latter witnessed her attempt to murder ibuki. she had murdered for “the sake of her beloved”. but in reality, mikan, including ibuki and hiyoko, are still alive. danganronpa 2: goodbye despair is a 2012 visual novel developed by spike chunsoft. it is the second game in the danganronpa franchise following danganronpa: trigger happy havoc (2010). it was first released in japan for playstation portable in july 2012, and a port for playstation vita was released in japan in october 2013.development of the game started as kazutaka kodaka was writing the light novel prequel danganronpa zero and added hints about a sequel to the novel following their approval. kodaka aimed to develop a unique plot to give players more mysterious elements in a group of islands, inspired by the television series lost. the protagonist hajime hinata is part of a group of high-school students who are trapped on a tropical island by their high school's headmaster monokuma, a sentient stuffed bear, along with monomi, a sentient stuffed rabbit. similar to the first game, to leave the island, students must kill one of their peers and not be caught in the subsequent investigation and trial.
