Sculpting a Stormtrooper helmet! This was a quick sculpt I did to practice some hard surface modeling.
I used Zbrush and Substance Painter. When sculpting, I used dynamesh and kept the shapes pretty soft until I got the look I want. Then I polished all the surfaces with the Trim Dynamic brush and the Polish by Features deformation.
Once the sculpt looked good, I put some rough polypaint on the model to make sure I liked it. I moved it to Substance Painter and put the final textures on it, then used IRay for the final render.
I've found IRay to be the easiest render engine to use, and it produces great results.
