Procrastination vs. Perseverance: The Key to Winning in Life! | Dr. Rick Wallace
When discussing procrastination, the first thing we must understand is that procrastination is not just the habit of not starting, but it also includes the tendency not to finish what you start.
The simple rule of thumb in life is that people who procrastinate rarely experience true success, while those who persevere bask in the glory of their handy work.
People who procrastinate have excuses that serve to justify their inactivity. Some of the top excuses of procrastinators include:
~ I'm waiting on the perfect timing
~ I can't work with distractions
~ I'm don't feel well today (headache, backache, butt ache)
~ Every T must be crossed, and every "I" is dotted.
We live in a culture where most people have mastered creating excuses for every situation that challenges them. People want exceptional results, but they are not willing to do what it takes.
The equation for winning in life is simple, determine your destination, select your path, and put in the work until you get there.
You only have to believe it will happen; you don't need to know how it will happen.
I want to help you break the curse of procrastination. I invite you to work with me through my Breaking the Curse of Procrastination Master Course. Over the next 30 days, I will work with you to develop habits of thought, behavior, and speech that will help you break free of your propensity to procrastinate.
