Every year the amazing PTA and the families of Vista Grande host a food drive the week before Super Bowl Sunday. Families can show their support for the team they favor by placing donations in a barrel. This year the Vista Grande PTA and families joined with the East County Transitional Living Center with a school-wide effort to collect not only food, but household supplies, and toiletries for our local families in need. Overall, we collected over 600 items for families in our neighborhood. This is the largest collection Vista Grande has done.
