Do NOT Store hydrated wood ear mushrooms in water!
Please note that you must hydrate, cook and eat your wood ear mushrooms for ONE meal and ONE MEAL ONLY! You cannot store in water in the refrigerator or freezer, due to risk of spoilage and cross contamination (Pseudomonas cocovenenans from the soil they were grown in). Hydrate enough wood ear mushrooms what you want to cook for that meal only.
