Sean from Apple (online) spent about two hours with me ironing out the Express Replacement process. In all fairness, it’s a new product and process, so just happy he was able to get it done.
Apple is sending me out a new VisionPro, which I prefer over a repair. I will be charged for a new VP until they receive the damaged one. Still just happy to close out this chapter. I will provide an update video showing the inboxing and reassembly. My mistake dropping it, so this extra drama getting it replaced will help ensure I don’t make the same mistake again. Current options are to wait for replacement units to become available or send in the damaged unit for repair…and potentially wait even longer. They scheduled a follow-up appointment for next Tuesday, 02/27. Stay tuned…
