Hi, today we’re going to be making a really simple and delicious Iranian dish called Panir Bereshte (cheese omelette)
It's really delicious and can be eaten with bread in the morning for breakfast, as well as with rice.
You will need;
50 g of Feta Cheese
3Large Eggs
25 g of Butter
¼ tsp of Turmeric
½ tbsp of Dried Dill
¼ tsp of Black Pepper
Melt the butter in a hot pan.
Add in your cheese. You can either crumble it with your hands or use a cheese grater.
Your stove should be on medium heat.
After a couple of minutes, add the dill, turmeric, eggs, and pepper. Feta cheese is already pretty salty so you don’t need to add any salt.
Mix well.
If you’d like, you could also add some garlic. You can also substitute the feta cheese for any cheese of your choosing, just make sure to adjust the seasoning accordingly.
