After a recent podcast episode with Jerry Myren from RectorSeal (listen here [ Ссылка ]) I learned about the importance of surge protection devices and how they work. On this Trenton refrigeration condensing unit, I install a RSH - VRM60 voltage monitor and an RSH - 50 surge protector. The voltage monitor is used to set over and under voltages and it will shut the machine down if those parameters are reached. The surge protector will protect system components from transient over voltages and surges caused by lightning strikes in the area.
