We’re proudly announcing the opening of Refettorio Madeleine, a community kitchen, in the heart of Paris!
As part of @Grundig and @FoodForSoul.it’s collaboration with Le Foyer de la Madeleine, this new community kitchen offers a delicious dining experience to vulnerable members of the community by transforming surplus ingredients, food that would otherwise be wasted, into healthy meals. Refettorio Paris aim to serve 100 meals a day with around 130 kg of recovered food.
Refettorio Paris is not a charity project, but a cultural one. Art has always been deeply embedded in Parisian culture and is central to Food for Soul’s founding principle that Ethics and Aesthetics are one and the same. This is why artists, architects, and designers have worked voluntarily to transform the restaurant into an inviting space. As a brand that cares greatly about respecting food, Grundig is proud to partner with a project that brings dignity back to the table.
