This is my new 2022 Alumacraft 185 Competitor FSX Test Drive. The 2023 Alumacraft FSX can be purchased with the upgraded/updated new Honda BF150 HP. The engine is the previous generation of the BF150 Honda. This engine has a 2.13 gear case that allows for larger diameter props to get the boat on plane as well as carry its useful load. This video will show how well this boat can perform in 1-to-2-foot waves going about 20 MPH. The engine is still in its break in procedure. Wide open Throttle with full fuel and one other person on board allowed for a top speed between 45 and 47 MPH. The boat also has 3 batteries and one trolling motor placed at the bow.

2022 and 2023 Alumacraft Competitor FSX are the same boats. If you are looking for a great boat this model is amazing.
