Campervan Campout 2024: The Ultimate Vanlife Festival Aftermovie

This year, we were delighted to host Chris Moyles and his legendary ‘90s Hangover Tour, a nostalgic blast that had festival-goers dancing the night away. But the music didn’t stop there – each day brought more live performances, DJ sets from @vdubradio , and even a Silent Disco Beach Party, which lit up the evenings with three channels of tunes! 🎧

At the heart of the festival was The Campout Hub, a lively space where vanlife and outdoor experts shared their knowledge and experiences. Highlights included talks from @TheUrbanMotorhome and Tash from @lifebeyondbricks , both offering valuable insights into full-time van living, along with a fascinating presentation by Carl Elliott from @BuiltnotBoughtCampers , who provided expert advice on self-build projects. Whether you’re new to vanlife or a seasoned traveller, The Campout Hub was the perfect place to learn, connect, and be inspired!

Our Self-Build Show was an inspiring showcase of creativity, featuring incredible van conversions and tips from experts. Visitors explored a variety of innovative self-build campervans, ranging from classic designs to quirky overlanders. And for those ready to take the plunge, our Shopping Village was packed with campervans, accessories, and handmade treasures! 🛠️

Nature lovers got in on the action too, with foraging walks led by Urban Forage, giving participants a chance to connect with the wild foods of the English countryside. In the Bushcraft Zone, festival-goers learned skills like fire lighting, wood carving, and craft-making, perfect for those wanting to reconnect with nature. 🌿

Families were at the heart of the festival, with plenty of activities for all ages, including arts & crafts, beachside games, face painting, and even a Mega Inflatable Assault Course! Let’s not forget our four-legged friends, who enjoyed a splash in the Paws in the Pool, a heated dog swimming pool that was a hit with both dogs and their humans. 🐾
