Yearly every 24th of June, Cavite City celebrates Water Festival (also known as "Regada"). The term "Regada" is derived from the Spanish word "regar" by chavacano speaking Caviteños which means water or to sprinkle. Regada is one of the biggest and happiest festival being celebrated in the city. With water sprinkler shower in the street with an estimation of 500 meters width and a 4 meters height installed yearly in celebration of Regada Festival at P. Burgos Ave, Caridad, Cavite City, Philippines. Underneath the sprinklers are thousands of people dancing and participating in many activities held on different stages and booths. The sprinklers will be activated from time to time during the entire course of the celebration.
