More than 50 elected student leaders from across the world have gathered in Accra for a global student pre-summit ahead of COP27 to develop a collective understanding, shared aspirations and joint ambition for a bold COP27 policy vision.

Utilizing existing expertise and mobilisation capacity we focused on articulating strategies for the implementation of tangible actions and advocacy towards clear political demands that truly address the multidimensional crisis we are facing.

The international student movement's COP27 declaration will be launched next week and used as a common framework for joint lobby work in the weeks ahead.

Much appreciation is owed to the All-Africa Students UNION and the Government of Ghana, specifically to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Regional Integration, Ghana for co-hosting this extraordinary conference with the Global Student Forum.
