This is hands down one of the best VR sim racing experiences I’ve had! Finally one of the greatest tracks in the world has been made for my favourite sim title. The level of detail is astonishing!

I mentioned in my V8 Supercars Hotlap video that I got emotional when I stumbled across the link to the new version of this amazing track & it was true... the place not only looks nice enough for VR & has to be up there with the best quality track mods I.e. Donington, Road America, Riverside, etc...

We try to get down to Bathurst every year for the Supercheap Auto 1000, it is such a shame we can't get there this year because of COVID-19. With the event around the corner though, I always get excited to cut laps here to appreciate how good the big boys are with driving 161 laps at race pace.

I can barely do one clean lap & it's miles off the real deal but my god it's amazing! It is so hard to not over drive the car, everything is so difficult in these supercars as they are under-tyred, under aero'd, over-weight & waaay over-powered - I love it!

I think this video speaks for itself, between my cluelessness & the AI being a typical Mount Panorama disaster, it was so hard to not constantly put it in the wall over the top of the mountain. And sorry to Lee Holdsworth on the final lap, causing him to bin the car - although I backed off to let him pass, the move was very black flag worthy... oops!

As for the track mod, DO IT. Do it immediately, it is truly beautiful. I think the Reboot Team have copied it over from AC Competizione. The way they have captured the landscape way out in the distance, it looks very Australian & very accurate, the track side detail is magnificent, the choppers constantly flying around getting footage & giving people rides, the flags actually working, the THE TREES ACTUALLY LOOK LIKE AUSIE GUM TREES...
