A walk through of my all organic Florida food forest and garden. In the beginning you can see some Sunflowers, Okra, Pole Beans and Everglades Tomatoes growing in the raised garden beds. As I walk through the fence you can see some Dendrocalamopsis Variostriata a Clumping Bamboo. As I pan right you will see the main food forest area with a small Ice Cream Bean plant, a couple of Avocado trees, Turmeric, Dendrocalamus Giganteus Bamboo aka Dragon Bamboo or Giant Bamboo (which is small here but reaching 50ft in only a year!) a Mulberry tree, some American Beauty Berry bushes, a Brazilian Grape tree also known as a Jaboticaba, some Mexican Sunflowers, a Barbados Cherry tree, Key Lime tree, Grand Nain Banana tree, Blue Java or Ice Cream Banana tree & a small Plantain tree.
I am going for a permaculture type food forest with many exotic fruits, vegetables, herbs, supporting plants like nitrogen fixing plants.
