You might have seen my video on the Noctua NH-D15S ([ Ссылка ]) and the temps I got when running Cinebench R23. Cinebench is pretty punishing and with standard settings the Intel Core i9-12900K ran at as much as 98 degrees C.
In this video I show you how to undervolt the Intel Core i9 in order to reduce the max temp and stop it from throttling without negatively impacting the performance of the CPU.
This is with the Asus Strix Z690-E Gaming Wi-Fi motherboard installed in Lian Li Dynamic Mini Snow Edition.
In the BIOS settings (press and hold del when the machine starts) you'll find the AI Tweaker settings. In there look for CPU Core/Cache voltage settings. Change it from auto to adaptive mode and offset minus then set the offset voltage to 0.05000. Exit and save changes, then go into Windows and run Cinebench.
