Yesterday, two ATF Special Agents and a Chicago police officer were shot by the occupants of a vehicle they were following. This comes on the end of a very bloody July 4th weekend in Chicago. Perhaps a different policing/prosecutorial strategy might work and certainly more federal law enforcement agents to enable additional federal prosecutions might reduce some of this mindless violence.
