Brian Van Tine, MD, PhD, Washington University, St. Louis, MO, describes possible advances in the field of CAR T-cell therapies for sarcoma. Following on from the anti-MAGE-A4 CAR T-cell, there is great potential for expansion across different targets and HLA types. Such therapies may additionally be indicated for other solid tumors, leading to pan-tumor cell therapies.
