No internet means no pay for us. ESL teachers. Or worse, no internet means, penalties and complaints! That’s what makes out jobs challenging, we are responsible and accountable for the stability of our internet connection even though in many instances, the quality of internet connection is poor in the Philippines when there is heavy rain :(
