If you live near Birmingham Airport and visit there regularly, whether travelling or plane spotting, you will definitely love these photos!
This video consists of a range of my best photos taken of planes departing at Birmingham International Airport (BHX) on 8/9/11. It includes photos of planes either taxiing on the taxiway towards runway 33, planes at the end of runway 33 ready to take off, and planes parked at the terminal in different positions. The main spotting locations I used were at the end of runway 33 (at Long Stay Car Park 1) and at the viewing area (near Long Stay Car Park 1). Long Stay Car Park 1 is the best place to get photos of either arrivals or departures, depending on what runway is in use (today runway 33), as you can see from the quality of some of the photos and the viewing area is the best place to get photos of planes ready to arrive/depart at the terminal.
