EXPLORING AN ABANDONED PRISON UNTOUCHED BY VANDALS | EXPLORING ABANDONED PLACES

Hey guys! In this video Donovan and I explore an Abandoned Prison. During this urban exploration of an abandoned place we were able to find a bunch of cool and creepy stuff like the prison cells and hospital! This abandoned prison is located just outside of Las Vegas making this a great short adventure!

The Correctional Facility was first opened in 1978 to house DUI inmates. During the 80's and up until it closed in 2000 the prison housed sex offenders, inmates in protective custody that transferred there from other prisons, and lifers that had good behavior.

The prison originally closed for renovations but was not re opened due to a New State Prison being opened. In 2006 the prison was re opened for two years. During those two years the prison housed young inmates under Twenty Five.

This Prison was classified as a Medium Security Prison.
