“A Life That’s Good” was written by Ashley Monroe and Sarah Siskind. The song was featured on the television series “Nashville” season 2 and sung by “Lennon & Maisy”.

Pictured is my dear friend Paul Martin who just celebrated his 58th birthday. Paul was a poster boy for the “March of Dimes” when he was 9-11 years old. Paul was born with cerebral palsy. If you were a student in the Elk Grove Unified School District in Northern California. Paul was a wrestling and football coach during the1993-2005 school years.

For those of you who know him, you know Paul to be a spirited, kind, and very positive man. Paul requested this song for me to sing. Paul has brought happiness to countless children through his “Can-Do” attitude despite the many demanding obstacles he encounters daily. And in spite of those challenges, Paul feels he has a life that’s good.

Perhaps we should be more like Paul...
