There’s no wonder why both men and women have been raving about liquid rhinoplasty. My patients have been saying that it’s the most convenient and least painful nose procedure.
In my over 10 years of experience as a cosmetic surgeon, I heard patients saying how nervous they were about getting traditional rhinoplasty.
Thanks to advancements in medicine, you can now have your nose done without going under the knife.
Sounds promising, right?
Now let’s dive into more details about the non-surgical nose job.
What is a Non-Surgical Nose Job?
Also known as liquid rhinoplasty, a non-surgical nose job is a procedure involving nasal fillers. It also goes by the name of liquid nose job.
A non-surgical nose job is perfect for those who want to improve their noses’ appearance without surgery. It’s also ideal for patients who don’t want to take the risks that come with traditional rhinoplasty.
In particular, a non-surgical nose job can correct or improve the following:
● Mild bump on the nose
● Small nose with a low bridge
● Slightly crooked nose
● Hooked-shaped nose
● Moderately drooping nasal tip
● Minor imperfection caused by traditional rhinoplasty
● Unevenness caused by thin skin
● Nose needing height and definition
If you’re experiencing any of these issues, a liquid nose job is a possible procedure for you.

What are Nasal Fillers?
Nasal fillers are used to change the shape and height of your nose. They are made of gel-like ingredients (typically hyaluronic acid) that are compatible with the human body.
Is it painful?
Every patient has a specific pain threshold. What’s painful for one might not be painful for another. However, based on my patients’ experience, the non-surgical nose job done at my facility is not that painful. For some patients I use a special topical anesthesia and cannula technique combined with cooling ice. Rest assured, you’ll experience little to no discomfort at my facility.
What is the recovery?
After the non-surgical nose job, mild redness, swelling, or bruising may occur at the injection points. However, these effects will go away within a few days.
What Are the Benefits of a Non-Surgical Nose Procedure?
There are many advantages associated with a non-surgical nose job.
1. It’s a non-invasive procedure. Liquid rhinoplasty is ideal for those who are afraid of surgery. It’s also perfect for those who don’t want to take the risks of having surgery.
2. It gives instant results. Nasal fillers instantly settle on your nose. Your looks are improved immediately after the procedure.
3. Recovery is fast. You don't have to wait for weeks to recover from a non-surgical nose job. Recovery usually takes about a day.
4. There’s little to no pain. At my clinic, patients report little to no pain because I use the cannula technique.
5. It gives you a more natural look. Since improvements are subtle, nasal fillers give you a more natural look.
How Long Do Nasal Fillers Last?
There’s no universal answer to this. The duration heavily varies from one person to another. A non-surgical nose job can last between 12 and 18 months. Sometimes, it can last up to 3 years.
You must take note, however, that nasal fillers are not permanent. They will eventually dissolve.
