Pakistan’s opposition parties alliance were set to hold their first rally in Punjab’s city of Gujranwala. Exiled former prime minister Nawaz Sharif is set to address the gathering via social media. His last address through social media and blacked out by mainstream media had hit hard the powerful military establishment. But in today’s gathering there seemed to be a tacit compromise with the establishment as the anti-establishment elected parliamentarians from Pushtoon Tahafaz Movement were not invited in the rally.
