Retired president Mwai Kibaki has called upon Kenyans to join him in a tree planting campaign he has launched in Kenya. The former President made the plea during the fourth graduation ceremony of Masai Mara University, where he was awarded an honorary Doctorate in Environmental Studies for his contribution in the conservation of the Masai Mara Game Reserve. Kibaki is the Patron of the Millennium Water Alliance of Kenya and UNESCO Special Envoy for Water in Africa. Daniel Mule reported.
