The CD booklet informs us only in regard to her career: She is based in California, a favorite guest artist of the Los Angeles Philharmonic, and has a worldwide reputation through festivals and competitions. Otherwise, she has played on Hollywood movie soundtracks, such as "Jurassic Park" and "Toy Story." She is a former member of the chamber ensemble Xtet. And a number of composers have written works for her, including John Adams, Pierre Boulez, David Raksin, and Chinary Ung.
