박진, 미국 첫 일정은 한국전 기념비 참배…13일 외교장관 회담
South Korean Foreign Minister Park Jin arrived in Washington on Sunday for talks with his U.S. counterpart over North Korea's continuing provocations.
He is scheduled to sit down with U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Monday.
Before departing for the U.S.,... Park told reporters that he will discuss ROK-U.S. cooperation to counter increasing nuclear and missile threats from Pyeongyang.
He added other agenda items include cooperation in the economic security sector, and peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
During his four-day trip,... Seoul's top diplomat also plans to meet with U.S. congressional leaders and experts at think tanks.
