This year, anyone caught setting off illegal fireworks will be fined $2,500, Seaside police officers will have extra officers on duty specifically for illegal fireworks patrol and will be deploying drones for extra enforcement. Plus, the city will be throwing a fireworks show on July 4 at Bayonet Black Horse Golf Course to further deter people from setting off illegal fireworks.
