Tomato Pappu (Dal) | టొమాటో పప్పు
1. Wash Toor Dal in a pressure cooker. To this add sliced tomatoes, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, Jeera, oil, water, mix and pressure cook for 4 -5 whistles.
2. Once the pressure releases, mash the dal nicely, add water and salt.
3. For tadka heat oil and add 1 tsp mustard, cumin, hing and curry leaves. Transfer this to the Pappu and mix. Add coriander leaves and serve with hot rice.
